Announcing the State Toppers and National Topper
The All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) is delighted to announce the winners of the AIMA Educational Excellence Awards 2026, one of the Association’s flagship national initiatives to recognize and honour exceptional academic achievements of Malayalee students across India.
Education is the cornerstone of a progressive society, and AIMA firmly believes that recognizing academic excellence not only rewards outstanding performers but also inspires thousands of students to strive for greater heights. Through these prestigious awards, AIMA acknowledges the hard work, determination, and commitment of students while appreciating the invaluable support of parents, teachers, and educational institutions.
The response to the AIMA Educational Excellence Awards 2026 was overwhelming, with 72 applications received from various States across the country. After a rigorous scrutiny and verification process, deserving students were selected for the State and National Awards.
About the Awards
AIMA–Paul Diclause Memorial State Educational Excellence Awards
The AIMA–Paul Diclause Memorial State Educational Excellence Awards are instituted to recognize one outstanding Malayalee student from each participating State based on exceptional academic performance in the Class XII Board Examination (Academic Year 2025–26).
Eligibility
Applications were invited from:
- Students who appeared for the Class XII Board Examination during the Academic Year 2025–26.
- Students belonging to Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams.
- Students studying under State Boards, CBSE, or ICSE.
Each State Awardee receives

AIMA–Gokulam Sabari Memorial National Educational Excellence Award
Among all the State Award recipients, one student is selected for the prestigious AIMA–Gokulam Sabari Memorial National Educational Excellence Award, the highest educational honour instituted by AIMA.

These awards reflect AIMA’s unwavering commitment to promoting academic excellence, encouraging young achievers, and fostering a culture of learning and innovation among the Malayalee community across India.
Evaluation Process

To ensure complete transparency, fairness, and credibility in the selection process, AIMA entrusted the evaluation of all applications to Dr. Mohammed Haneefa Eradan, a distinguished educationist and internationally respected academic administrator with over 30 years of experience in teaching, school administration, and institutional leadership across India, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
A recipient of an Honorary Ph.D. in Educational Administration, Dr. Haneefa has served as Principal, Founder Principal, Vice Principal, Headmaster, and Senior Teacher in several reputed institutions. He has successfully led internationally acclaimed CBSE schools, guided institutions through CBSE affiliation and accreditation, introduced numerous educational innovations, mentored teachers, and consistently delivered exceptional academic outcomes.
Among his many accomplishments, he served as Principal of Modern International School, Riyadh, where the school achieved 100% CBSE Board Examination results, produced one of the highest percentages of A1 grade holders in Saudi Arabia, and introduced several pioneering academic and student development initiatives. As Founder Principal of MES Indian School, Doha, he successfully established the institution from inception to obtaining CBSE Senior Secondary Affiliation. He has also served as CBSE Saudi Chapter Convener and Secretary of the MGS Principals’ Forum, coordinating educational initiatives involving nearly 48 CBSE-affiliated schools across Saudi Arabia.
As the Evaluator of the AIMA Educational Excellence Awards 2026, Dr. Mohammed Haneefa meticulously examined all 72 applications received from across the country based on academic performance, eligibility criteria, authenticity of documents, and overall merit. His vast experience in educational leadership, commitment to academic excellence, and impeccable professional integrity ensured that the entire selection process remained objective, transparent, impartial, and merit-based, further enhancing the prestige and credibility of the AIMA Educational Excellence Awards.

The ceremony will bring together eminent personalities from the fields of education, public service, and social leadership to honour the National Topper and celebrate academic excellence.
The AIMA–Paul Diclause Memorial State Educational Excellence Awards will be presented separately by the respective AIMA State Committees during their State-level award functions and educational programmes, ensuring that each State Topper is recognized and felicitated within their own State in the presence of local dignitaries, educators, parents, and the Malayalee community.
