With his first step, Vamana covered the earth; with the second, the underworld. When there was no place left for the third, Bali, in humility and devotion, offered his own head.

Moved by Bali’s surrender, Lord Vishnu granted him the boon of visiting his people once every year. Onam thus marks the symbolic return of King Mahabali, when Keralites, irrespective of caste or creed, celebrate with grandeur to welcome their beloved king.

Known as one of the most prestigious platforms for amateur singers, AIMA Voice has nurtured budding talents and given them the opportunity to shine on a truly national stage.

This third season promises to be bigger, more exciting, and more melodious than ever before. Carrying forward its legacy, AIMA Voice continues its mission of preserving and promoting Malayalam music while identifying and encouraging upcoming singers from every corner of India.

State-Level Competitions: The Beginning of the Musical Journey

The journey of AIMA Voice 2025 begins at the state level, which will be conducted between August 15 and September 15, 2025. Each AIMA State Unit will organize its respective competition during this period.

Eligibility and Categories

The competition is open to all Malayalee singers residing in the respective states for at least six months prior to the event. The participants are grouped into three age categories to provide equal opportunity and fair competition:

• Junior (10–15 years) – Born between 15.08.2010 and 14.08.2015
