The incident began when Tasmeeth left her home following a family quarrel. After an argument with her sisters and subsequent scolding from her parents, she vanished, leaving her family in a state of panic. Her parents, Anwar Hussain and his wife, immediately reported her missing to the Kazhakkoottam police, sparking a search that would extend across state borders.

The Search and a Crucial Breakthrough

As the search efforts intensified, the involvement of the AIMA Andhra Pradesh team and the AIMA Quick Response Team (QRT) proved to be crucial. The QRT, known for its rapid and efficient action in emergency situations, immediately mobilized upon receiving the report of Tasmeeth’s disappearance.

Led by Shri N. N. Pillai, President of AIMA Andhra Pradesh, and supported by Shri Sunilkumar, PRO AIMA, along with other dedicated members, the team coordinated closely with local authorities and the Malayalee associations in Vishakhapatnam. The RPF, acting on the tip, quickly took Tasmeeth into custody, ensuring her safety.

Tasmeeth will soon be presented before a local magistrate, after which she will be reunited with her family.
