Northern and Eastern State Level Winners Announced

To commemorate International Women’s Day 2025, the National Women’s Wing of the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) organized an online competition titled “Her Rhythms 2025.” This initiative was launched to honor and celebrate the voices, creativity, and spirit of women across the country.

Participants from all states actively submitted their entries, and a three-tier selection process was followed, starting at the State level, followed by Regional selections, and culminating at the National level. The enthusiasm and diversity of submissions truly reflected the richness of talent within the community.

On 6th April 2025, Shri K. R. Manoj visited the officials of the AIMA Chhattisgarh State Unit in Raipur. The meeting served as an opportunity to review the current status of state unit activities and lay out a clear path for strengthening the association’s presence in the region.

Day 1: Extending a Helping Hand – April 5, 2025

AIMA U.P. Donation Cheque Handover at SGPGIMS Hospital

The first day began with an act of kindness and empathy. At 4:30 PM, representatives of AIMA U.P. and Kerala Samajam, Lucknow visited SGPGIMS Hospital to hand over a donation cheque of ₹1,00,000 to Mr. Vaisakh V.R., a patient in need of urgent medical assistance. The funds were collected as part of a charitable drive organized by AIMA U.P., with additional support pouring in from various chapters, including various AIMA members and others, totaling an approximate contribution of ₹1,80,000.

Strategic Meeting with Kerala Samajam Officials

At 7:00 PM, a strategic meeting was held between the office-bearers of AIMA U.P. and Kerala Samajam, Lucknow. The discussion centered around future collaborations, upcoming welfare programs, and enhanced community engagement strategies to benefit the Malayalee population residing in Uttar Pradesh.


Day 2: Food for Needy Initiative – April 6, 2025

On the occasion of World Poetry Day, AIMA Women Members of the AIMA Uttar Pradesh Unit wrote beautiful “Kavithakal” and voiced them in their own unique styles. Participants included Smt. Radha Venugopal, Smt. Sumi Nimil, Smt. Moly S Nair, Smt. Geetha Suresh, Smt. Prabha Rajan and Smt. Padmaja Gopal. The initiative to celebrate this day under the AIMA Wing was brought forth by Smt. Moly S Nair. To honor their creativity, a competition was held, and the first prize winner will be awarded a finger ring sponsored by member Smt. Safiya Beevi.
