Key office bearers, including the National General Secretary and State leadership, joined hands to deliberate on the roadmap for the coming months with special focus on membership campaigns, participation in national events, social initiatives, and welfare activities.

1. Welcome Address by State President Shri A. Gopinath

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome from Shri A. Gopinath, the President of AIMA Rajasthan. He extended his gratitude to all members for attending and appreciated their continued support and dedication toward the organization’s vision and objectives.

2. Address by National General Secretary Shri KR Manoj

National General Secretary Shri KR Manoj addressed the gathering with motivating words and a national perspective. He emphasized the need for active involvement from all state units and congratulated Rajasthan Unit for its consistent efforts and results in both social outreach and organizational activities.

3. Membership Status & Campaign Plans

The current membership status was reviewed, and the importance of expanding the membership base was highlighted. It was unanimously decided to initiate a state-wide membership campaign, with special emphasis on encouraging Women and Youth participation from key districts such as Kota, Udaipur, and Belwada. To further support this effort, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in June 2025 in Jaipur. This meeting is expected to galvanize district-level leadership and enhance inclusivity.

4. Participation in NEC/NGC Meeting in Kerala

It was confirmed that the AIMA National Executive Committee (NEC) and National General Council (NGC) meetings are scheduled for 12th and 13th July 2025 in Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala. Members agreed to ensure maximum participation from the Rajasthan unit, recognizing the importance of national-level collaboration and visibility.

5. Financial Accounts Presentation

A summarized statement of accounts as on 30th April 2025 was presented during the meeting. Members appreciated the financial transparency and took note of the fund utilization across initiatives.

6. Future Projects Discussion

Forward-looking discussions were held on multiple upcoming projects. A key highlight was the proposed Free Health Check-up Camp scheduled for 4th May 2025 at Bhiwadi. Special initiatives were also outlined by the Youth and Women’s Wings, focusing on health, education, and empowerment across the state.

7. Donations for “Build a Home” Project

The meeting reviewed the donation status for the “Build a Home” initiative for Shri Ramachandran P. K. and family in Kulanada, Pandalam. The Rajasthan unit has already contributed Rs. 1.29 lakhs toward this noble cause. Members agreed to continue fundraising efforts to further support the project.

8. Expansion of Food for Needy Campaign

The ongoing “Food for Needy” campaign, which had so far been successfully conducted in Bhiwadi, will now be expanded to other major cities including Jaipur, Alwar, Udaipur, and Bharatpur. This move is expected to bring the campaign’s benefits to a broader base of underprivileged individuals across Rajasthan.

• Entry Fee: Rs. 1000 per event. The fee is applicable per event and must be paid at the time of registration. Entries will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment.

  • The tournament is open to both resident and non-resident Malayalees of Kerala.
  • All entries must be routed strictly through the respective AIMA State Units. Individual entries will not be entertained.

A New Chapter in Kerala’s Cartooning Journey Begins

Cartoonist Sudheernath, a respected member of AIMA Delhi, former National Media Coordinator of AIMA, and currently a Board Member of Malayalam Mission, has been elected as the Chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy for the 2025–2027 term. The election was conducted at the Academy’s Annual General Body Meeting held in Ernakulam, in the presence of a vibrant gathering of Kerala’s eminent cartoonists and creative minds. His appointment has been widely welcomed by the artistic community, with many expressing hope that his leadership will take the Academy to greater heights.

This initiative was finalized after a successful initiation meeting held on 27th April 2025 at the Noida Ayyappa Temple, where enthusiastic discussions and planning sessions laid the foundation for this project.

The classes are set to commence from the first week of May 2025, and more than 12 ladies have already enrolled, showcasing the excitement and passion surrounding the initiative.
