The vibrant city of Lucknow recently witnessed a remarkable union of service and solidarity as the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA), Uttar Pradesh State Unit, and Kerala Samajam, Lucknow came together to host the Lucknow Meet on the 5th and 6th of April 2025. Rooted in compassion and unity, the two-day program was filled with humanitarian activities, constructive discussions, and cultural engagement — reaffirming the power of community-driven change.
Day 1: Extending a Helping Hand – April 5, 2025

AIMA U.P. Donation Cheque Handover at SGPGIMS Hospital
The first day began with an act of kindness and empathy. At 4:30 PM, representatives of AIMA U.P. and Kerala Samajam, Lucknow visited SGPGIMS Hospital to hand over a donation cheque of ₹1,00,000 to Mr. Vaisakh V.R., a patient in need of urgent medical assistance. The funds were collected as part of a charitable drive organized by AIMA U.P., with additional support pouring in from various chapters, including various AIMA members and others, totaling an approximate contribution of ₹1,80,000.
Strategic Meeting with Kerala Samajam Officials

At 7:00 PM, a strategic meeting was held between the office-bearers of AIMA U.P. and Kerala Samajam, Lucknow. The discussion centered around future collaborations, upcoming welfare programs, and enhanced community engagement strategies to benefit the Malayalee population residing in Uttar Pradesh.
Day 2: Food for Needy Initiative – April 6, 2025

AIMA’s Commitment to Humanity
The second day marked another chapter of service under the banner of AIMA’s pan-India initiative — “Food for Needy”. At 12:30 PM, nutritious meals were distributed at St. Francis School for the Hearing Impaired, located at Jal Nigam Road, Mishribagh, Balaganj, Lucknow.
This program, executed with full cooperation from Kerala Samajam, Lucknow, catered to nearly 200 children, sisters, and school staff. The children’s heartfelt cultural performances added warmth and vibrancy to the occasion, creating lasting memories for all present.
