The Maharashtra State Unit of the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) held its Executive Committee Meeting on February 14, 2025, at Royal Hometel Suite, Mumbai. The meeting was presided over by Shri Khalid T.A, President of the Maharashtra State Unit.

A budget of Rs. 50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs) has been allocated for this purpose, and the paperwork for purchasing the office is currently in progress. This step aims to enhance the administrative efficiency and presence of AIMA in the state.

2. Commitment to National General Council Meeting in Kerala

The Maharashtra State Unit has committed to actively participate in the upcoming National General Council meeting, scheduled to be held in Kerala on July 12-13, 2025. The state unit has also pledged significant financial contributions to support the successful execution of this prestigious event.

3. Critical Inspection of Recently Concluded NEC Meeting in Mumbai

The Executive Committee conducted a detailed and critical review of the recently concluded National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Mumbai. Discussions focused on evaluating the outcomes, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring better organization in future meetings.

4. Inclusion of Adv. Prema Menon as Legal Advisor and EC Member

The committee formally agreed to include Adv. Prema Menon as the Legal Advisor and Executive Committee Member for Maharashtra. This announcement, initially made by State President Shri T.A. Khalid during the last NEC meeting in Mumbai, was officially ratified in the Executive Committee meeting.
