A Significant Gathering to Strengthen Vision, Unity, and Future Initiatives

The All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) Uttar Pradesh State Unit is set to host its Special Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 16th November 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the National Institute of Open Studies (NIOS), Sector 62, Noida.
This important meeting aims to review ongoing initiatives, finalize future programs, strengthen organizational frameworks, and enhance the welfare activities planned for 2025–26.


Purpose of the Special AGM

The AIMA Uttar Pradesh Special AGM is being convened to solidify plans for the upcoming year, discuss the achievements and challenges of past months, and reaffirm the association’s commitment to community service, cultural preservation, and social responsibility. This gathering is also an opportunity to bring together members, strengthen unity, and collectively plan the upcoming AIMA Mahotsavam 2026.


AGENDA OF THE SPECIAL AGM


1. Welcome Address

By: Shri K. T. Mahasayan, State Secretary

The meeting will open with a warm welcome address by the Secretary, who will outline the purpose of the Special AGM, acknowledge the contributions of the members, and set the tone for a productive session.


2. Presidential Address

By: Shri Suresh Kumar Nair, State President

The President will highlight the progress made by AIMA Uttar Pradesh during the past year, including successful initiatives such as:

  • Napkin Vending Machine Installation Project across girls’ schools in Uttar Pradesh
  • ‘Color the Nation’ school activity in Noida and Greater Noida
  • Active support for Feed the Hunger and Food for Needy initiatives
  • Strengthening coordination with district units and local Malayalee communities

He will also emphasize the importance of collective effort for the upcoming AIMA Mahotsavam and other flagship projects.


3. Keynote Address

By: Shri Jayaraj Nair, National Additional General Secretary

The keynote address will include:

  • Insights on strengthening AIMA’s national vision
  • Importance of Uttar Pradesh as an emerging and active state unit
  • Recognition of UP State Women’s Wing’s dynamic contribution in projects such as the winter clothing drive and sanitary napkin distribution missions
  • Guidance on improving inter-state coordination, transparent communication, and process-driven administration

The keynote will motivate the members to enhance participation and prepare for the major events planned for 2026.


MAIN AGENDA


4. Finalizing AIMA U.P. Annual AIMA Mahotsavam 2026

This is the most important agenda of the meeting. Discussions will include:

• Fixing Date & Venue

The AGM will decide the most suitable date and a prominent venue in Uttar Pradesh to conduct the grand AIMA U.P. Annual Mahotsavam 2026, ensuring maximum participation and visibility.

• Formation of Sub-Committees

Special committees will be created for:

  • Program & Cultural Coordination
  • Publicity & Media
  • Souvenir Preparation
  • Sponsorship & Finance
  • Stage and Venue Management
  • Hospitality
  • Volunteer and Youth Participation

• Publishing the AIMA Souvenir 2026

The meeting will finalize:

  • Editorial team
  • Content structure (articles, ads, messages, achievements, photographs)
  • Timeline for publishing
  • Strategies for advertisement collection to support event expenses

5. Presentation of Half-Yearly Financial Statement 2025

By: Shri Manoj Kumar Nair, Treasurer

The Treasurer will present the financial health of the association, including:

  • Income and expenditure from January–June 2025
  • Funds utilized for community projects
  • Status of contributions, sponsorships, and pending dues
  • Financial requirements for AIMA Mahotsavam 2026

This transparent presentation will help the executive body plan the next phases effectively.


6. Women’s Wing Activity Update

By: Smt. Deepthi Nair, Convenor, Women’s Wing; National Vice Chairperson

The Women’s Wing continues to be one of the most active branches of AIMA Uttar Pradesh.
The report will highlight:

  • Winter Clothing Collection Drive (2025)
  • Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine Project across schools
  • Awareness sessions for adolescent girls
  • Participation in statewide community upliftment initiatives
  • Coordination with the National Women’s Wing on social and charitable programs
  • Educational Support for Students

The Women’s Wing has consistently demonstrated leadership and compassion, strengthening AIMA’s social impact in UP.


7. Youth Wing Progress Report

The Youth Wing will present its progress, including:

  • Volunteer support in napkin distribution and ‘Color the Nation’ events
  • Participation in cultural and sports coordination
  • Plans for mobilizing more young members under AIMA
  • Upcoming youth-centric programs for 2026

The youth unit has shown remarkable energy and commitment in driving community activities.


8. Vote of Thanks
