AIMA Goa Unit Celebrates India International Dance Festival in Margao.

The All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) Goa Unit organized a grand cultural celebration — India International Dance Festival — on the 16th and 17th of August at Margao, Goa. The two-day festival brought together more than 100 participants from different states across India, turning the stage into a vibrant platform of dance, tradition, and cultural unity.
A Grand Inauguration
The festival was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Shri Digambar Kamat, Ex-Chief Minister of Goa and present MLA of Margao Constituency. The presence of Shri Ravi Kottarakara, President of the Film Federation of India and President of the South Indian Film Chamber, and renowned cultural personality Kalamandalam Satyanarayanan, along with other distinguished guests, added grace and prestige to the occasion.

On this special occasion, Shri K. R. S. Nair, Chairman of AIMA Goa Unit, highlighted the various activities and contributions of AIMA in social, cultural, and charitable fields. Shri C. K. Shamsudin, AIMA Secretary, elaborated on the association’s future plans, aiming to strengthen community engagement and cultural outreach across India.
