The All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) Goa State Unit conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Family Get-Together on 22nd June 2025 at the elegant BPS Club Hall, Margao. The occasion brought together AIMA members, families, and well-wishers in an atmosphere of unity, reflection, and celebration.


Warm Welcome by President Shri Raju Nambiar

The event commenced with a heartfelt Welcome Address by Shri Raju Nambiar, President of AIMA Goa. He expressed gratitude for the active participation of members and appreciated the efforts of the Executive Committee in organizing the gathering. Annual Report Presentation by Secretary Shri Shamsidheen TK

Following the welcome, Secretary Shri Shamsidheen TK presented the Annual Activity Report, detailing the events, initiatives, and achievements of AIMA Goa over the past year. The report highlighted social service activities, cultural events, educational programs, and participation in national-level AIMA activities. The secretary lauded the dedicated support of the members and volunteers in making the year successful.


Financial Transparency by Treasurer Shri Mohan Kumar

Next, Treasurer Shri Mohan Kumar presented the Annual Financial Statement, offering a clear and transparent view of the unit’s finances. His presentation included income, expenditures, and future financial planning. The treasurer’s report was appreciated for its clarity and accuracy, reinforcing trust and accountability within the unit.


Women’s Wing and EC Members – The Pillars Behind the Event

The smooth coordination and hospitality of the event were led by Smt. Sasikala Sankar, Convener of the Women’s Wing, along with the enthusiastic support of Executive Committee Members. Their meticulous planning and execution were visible in every detail—from the décor and seating to refreshments and overall event management. Their collective efforts created a warm and welcoming ambiance for all attendees.


Evening of Cultural Delight and Fellowship

Post the official meeting, the mood turned festive as the audience was treated to a vibrant Cultural Entertainment Programme.
