Celebrating “Her Rhythm 2025”: AIMA National Women’s Wing Announces National-Level Winners

As part of the International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations, the National Women’s Wing of the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) proudly hosted two inspiring cultural events: an Online Photography Competition and Instrumental Music (String) Performance, conducted at the State, Regional, and National levels under the theme “Her Rhythm 2025.”
These events celebrated the vibrant creativity of women across India, offering them a stage to showcase their unique expressions through the lens of a camera and the strings of musical instruments. We are now delighted to announce the National Level winners of these exciting competitions.
Online Photography Competition – National Level Winners
Women photographers from all four regions of India submitted entries that captured powerful stories, everyday emotions, and compelling visual narratives. The competition revealed extraordinary talent, demonstrating how photography can be both a form of art and a tool for empowerment.
1st Prize – Smt. Pratibha Krishna
Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan
Cash Prize: ₹3,000/-
Judges’ Note: Pratibha’s work stood out for its profound storytelling, vivid composition, and emotional resonance. Her image reflected the theme of “Her Rhythm” with depth and authenticity.

2nd Prize – Smt. Aswathy R.B
Location: Kerala
Cash Prize: ₹2,000/-
Judges’ Note: Aswathy’s photograph displayed technical mastery and an artistic vision that beautifully captured the essence of motherhood in harmony with nature and life.

Instrumental Music (String) – Regional Level Winners
The instrumental music category witnessed soulful performances on string instruments, where rhythm met emotion, and melody intertwined with cultural roots. Participants poured their heart into each note, revealing the grace and depth of their musical journeys.
1st Prize – Smt. Mini
Location: Kerala
Cash Prize: ₹3,000/-
Judges’ Note: Mini’s performance was a musical delight, marked by precision, fluidity, and an intuitive connection with rhythm that mesmerized the audience.

2nd Prize – Smt. Sumi Nimil
Location: Uttar Pradesh
Cash Prize: ₹2,000/-
Judges’ Note: Sumi brought an elegant blend of classical structure and expressive flair, making her a deserving winner in this closely contested category.
