AIMA DELHI EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

1. Meeting Overview
The Executive Committee Meeting of the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) Delhi Unit was held on 2nd March 2025 at Panicker’s Guest House, Karol Bagh, New Delhi. The meeting was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri K. R. Manoj, National General Secretary of AIMA, who played a significant role in the proceedings. The session was presided over by Shri Aji Kumar Medayil, President of AIMA Delhi.
The following executive members were present: Shri Pavithran Koyilandi, Shri Jaya Kumar, Shri Raveendran P, Shri Sajan Kumar, Shri Saji Thomas, Shri Anil Kumar, Shri Anil Kumar Zigma, Smt. Nalini Mohan, Smt. Rema Sunil, and Ms. Sneha Shaji.
2. A Grand Success – ‘Mayookha Sandhya 2025’ Women’s Gathering
The committee proudly reviewed the successful organization of Mayookha Sandhya 2025, a women-centric event conducted earlier the same day at the DMA premises. The event received widespread appreciation and was lauded as a benchmark initiative for empowering women within the association.
Shri K. R. Manoj, National General Secretary, emphasized the importance of giving women leadership roles and appreciated the full representation achieved during the event. Members acknowledged that every segment of the program was executed with precision and passion, making it a truly memorable occasion. Honoring women leaders from other organizations was a thoughtful gesture that received positive attention from outside groups and showcased AIMA Northern Region’s inclusive spirit.
3. Farewell Function for Vice President Shri Pavithran Koyilandi
The committee discussed and approved a farewell event in honor of Vice President Shri Pavithran Koyilandi, who is set to return to his native place. The farewell will be held on 19th April 2025 at Kerala House, Delhi. The presence of the National General Secretary during this discussion added weight to the importance of Shri Pavithran’s contributions to AIMA Delhi’s activities and leadership.
4. Membership Achievement Recognition
A proud moment for AIMA Delhi was the announcement of their exceptional performance in the 2024–25 membership drive. Shri K. R. Manoj, National General Secretary, congratulated the Delhi team for enrolling 35 new members, the highest among all AIMA state units. The General Secretary commended the efforts of the entire Delhi committee and encouraged them to continue their outstanding outreach and engagement work.
5. Proposed Football Tournament
To further strengthen member interaction and youth participation, it was proposed to organize a football tournament after 15th September 2025. Members supported the initiative and agreed that it would add vibrancy and energy to AIMA Delhi’s calendar. Planning will commence in the coming months.
6. NRCC Family Get-Together Planning
The meeting also included discussions regarding a family get-together under the NRCC (Northern Region Coordination Committee) to be held on 9th or 10th August 2025, based on the availability of AIMA National President Shri Gokulam Gopalan. Final confirmation of dates and venue will follow accordingly.
Conclusion
The meeting concluded on a high note, with Shri K. R. Manoj, National General Secretary, expressing his satisfaction with AIMA Delhi’s activities and the spirit of collaboration among its members. President Shri Aji Kumar Medayil thanked all attendees for their proactive participation and valuable contributions.
