“Her Rhythms 2025” – Online Photography Competition on International Women’s Day
Northern and Eastern State Level Winners Announced
To commemorate International Women’s Day 2025, the National Women’s Wing of the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) organized an online competition titled “Her Rhythms 2025.” This initiative was launched to honor and celebrate the voices, creativity, and spirit of women across the country.
Participants from all states actively submitted their entries, and a three-tier selection process was followed, starting at the State level, followed by Regional selections, and culminating at the National level. The enthusiasm and diversity of submissions truly reflected the richness of talent within the community.
The following are the results of the State Level competitions:
Northern Region
Uttar Pradesh
- First Prize: Dr. Sheeba Saji Samuel, Lucknow
- Second Prize: Padmaja Gopal, Greater Noida West
Rajasthan
- First Prize: Pratibha Krishna, Bhiwadi
- Second Prize: Manjula Devi, Bhiwadi
Eastern Region
West Bengal
- First Prize: Sylaja P Das, Kolkata
- Second Prize: Geetha S Kumar, Kolkata
Odisha
- First Prize: Sindhu Rajeev, Bhubaneswar
- Second Prize: Sreekala Nair, Rourkela
Panel of Judges
The entries were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges with notable contributions to their respective fields:
- Shri Ajith G Maniyan, Founder of Thespis – The National Micro Drama Festival and Secretary of Vriksh the Theater & Renowned Photographer.
- Cartoonist Sudheernath, Chairman of Kerala Cartoon Academy and Member of Malayalam Mission
- Shri Janardhanan, Renowned Photographer.
Their insights and expertise brought immense value to the judging process, ensuring fairness, creativity, and originality were honored at every level.
The event was conducted with a clear timeline to ensure smooth execution and participation across all regions. The schedule of competitions is as follows:
- Last date for receipt of entries: 31st March 2025
- Last date for publishing results by the State units: 6th April 2025
- Last date for publishing Regional-level results: 13th April 2025
- National-level result declaration: 20th April 2025
- Date for cash award distribution: 12th July 2025
The National Women’s Wing congratulates all winners for their remarkable contributions. Each entry was a reflection of the inner strength, resilience, and creativity of women in our community. The results at the Regional and National levels are eagerly awaited, and we look forward to continuing this celebration of women’s voices through upcoming stages of the competition.
