Empowering Women Through Self-Help Groups in Pondicherry

On 9th March 2025, Deepthi Nair took a significant step toward empowering women by supporting a self-help group in Pondicherry. Recognizing the need for sustainable employment, she distributed 30 Jute Sewing Machines along with essential stitching accessories to the members of a local women’s collective engaged in producing eco-friendly jute bags.

This self-help group consists of 60 women, who rely on crafting and selling jute bags for their livelihood. With the new machines and accessories, they can increase their production, improve the quality of their products, and expand their market reach. This initiative not only provides financial stability but also fosters a sense of independence and confidence among these hardworking women.

Restoring the Gift of Hearing in Noida

Following her impactful work in Pondicherry, on 12th March 2025, Deepthi Nair extended her humanitarian outreach to Noida, where she facilitated the distribution of 100 hearing aids to individuals facing hearing disabilities. For many of the beneficiaries, this was their first opportunity to hear clearly, significantly improving their ability to communicate and engage with society.
