AIMA Kerala Piravi Celebrations 2024: Honoring Our Heritage and Unity

The All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) Kerala Piravi Celebrations for 2024 are set to bring together Malayalees from across the nation in a vibrant tribute to the state’s culture and heritage. Scheduled for November 10, 2024, this day-long celebration will be rich with cultural competitions and special events, uniting members through shared pride and connection to Kerala.

Morning Session (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Quiz Competition

The celebrations will begin with an exciting quiz competition that captures the essence of Kerala’s history, culture, and arts.

Quiz Competition:

• With 75 participants from across the nation, the quiz promises to be a true test of knowledge on Kerala’s heritage, language, and milestones.
• Participants will showcase their understanding of the state’s rich history and cultural significance, with spirited rounds that will be both challenging and engaging.

Evening Programme (6:00 PM Onwards)

The evening program is designed to immerse attendees in the spirit of Kerala Piravi, with an engaging sequence of addresses, performances, and honors.

1. Prayer:
   The evening will begin with a heartfelt prayer, setting a serene and respectful tone for the rest of the program.
2. Welcome Address:
   A warm welcome will be extended to all the participants and attendees, honoring the significance of the occasion and the unity it brings among Malayalees across the country.
3. Presidential Address:
   In the Presidential Address, the President will highlight the importance of Kerala Piravi, celebrating the achievements of the Malayalee community and encouraging everyone to uphold the values of Kerala’s culture.
4. Kerala Piravi Messages by Shri Gopinath Muthukad:
   Shri Gopinath Muthukad, a prominent figure and a proud Malayalee, will share his insights and encouragement, honoring the occasion and inspiring the younger generation to preserve Kerala’s cultural heritage.
5. Malayalam Language Pledge:
   As a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving and promoting our mother tongue, the audience will join together in a pledge to uphold and cherish the Malayalam language.
6. Declaration of Quiz and Thiruvathira Dance Results:
   The winners of the Quiz competition will be announced, followed by the much-anticipated declaration of the best Thiruvathira performances. The three top performances, selected from 13 states, will be celebrated for their creativity and dedication to this cherished Kerala dance tradition.
7. Live Streaming of Best Thiruvathira Dance Performances:
   To conclude the program, the top three Thiruvathira performances will be live-streamed, allowing audiences across the country to witness the grace and beauty of this traditional Kerala art form.
8. Vote of Thanks:
   AIMA will express gratitude to everyone involved – from the organizers to participants and supporters. The Vote of Thanks will mark the end of the formal program with sincere appreciation for everyone’s contributions.
