The All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) is thrilled to announce a vibrant celebration in honor of Kerala Piravi 2024! This year, we’re marking the day with two exciting competitions aimed at bringing the spirit and culture of Kerala to life across our community. We invite you to join us in this festive occasion through our Region-Level Quiz Competition and National-Level Thiruvathira Dance Competition, each offering attractive prizes and a platform to showcase your knowledge and talents.

Kerala Piravi Competitions

1. Regional Level Quiz Competition
Topic: Kerala History, Political, and Social Spheres
Platform: Online
Date & Time: 10th November 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Quiz Competition Rules:

• The quiz will be conducted online, and participants are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection.
• Questions will cover a wide range of topics on Kerala’s history, political landscape, and social issues.
• The use of AI tools, reference materials, books, phones, or the internet during the quiz is strictly prohibited.
• Each question has a fixed response time, and participants are encouraged to answer accurately and quickly.
• Winners will be determined based on the highest accuracy and response speed.
• Results will be announced on Sunday, 10th November 2024, at 6:00 PM, coinciding with the Malayala Bhasha Pratinja Programme (മലയാള ഭാഷ പ്രതിജ്ഞ).

Prizes:

• First Prize: ₹5000/-
• Second Prize: ₹3000/-
• Third Prize: ₹2000/-
• Certificates for All Participants

Age Limit: Open to all ages.

2. National-Level Thiruvathira Dance Competition
AIMA invites all state units to showcase their talents in a national-level Thiruvathira competition. Submit your team’s best performance video for a chance to be recognized and win exciting prizes!

Competition Details:

• Each team should perform a Thiruvathira dance for a minimum of 7 minutes.
• Record your performance and submit the video for judging.
• Selected performances will be streamed on AIMA’s Virtual Platform on Sunday, 10th November 2024, at 6:00 PM, in alignment with the Malayala Bhasha Pratinja Programme (മലയാള ഭാഷ പ്രതിജ്ഞ).

Evaluation Criteria:

Teams will be evaluated based on creativity, synchronization, and overall presentation.

Prizes:

• First Prize: ₹5000/-
• Second Prize: ₹3000/-
• Third Prize: ₹2000/-
• Certificates for All Participants

Age Limit: Open to all ages.
